Muscle aches is a pain we can all live without
Muscle aches and pain is also known as Myalgia. It is a condition involving any muscles on a person’s body and may be accompanied by muscles spasms and joint pain. It is a very common complaint although different people suffer from problems with different muscle groups. Most often muscles aches are related to over use of a muscle or hard physically demanding work. In these situations, the muscle pain tends to involve rather specific muscles or muscle groups, and the cause of the muscle pain is fairly obvious. However, muscle pain can accompany many other conditions such as infectious disease, autoimmune disease, parasitosis, and other problems. If you feel muscle pain all over your body it may be a sign of other illness.
When we are tense and we tend to keep our muscles tight, we may suffer from aches and pain in the muscles. Injury and muscles sprains lead to the same kind of localized pain as over use of the muscles does. Autoimmune disorders and infections may result in a generalized aching of the muscles all over the body. Even something as common as the flu can leave a person feeling muscle aches all over.
If you have muscles aches due to injury you should ice the affected muscles within 24 hours and after that time you should apply heat. Some general aching can be addressed with food supplements. They may prove to reduce the discomfort. All symptoms and muscle aches should be reported to your doctor if they last longer than three days.
