Feel better and lose weight on low carbohydrate diets
Low carbohydrate diets work because your body uses carbs and fat to produce the main source of energy. When we lower our carbohydrates, our body will transfer over to using the stored fat for this energy. Another pro to low carbohydrate diets is that we will have increased energy- which is something we could all use at one time or another – while losing weight and yet not feel hungry. There has been lots of research on this subject, for example, by Dr. Atkins. In his book, he goes into further detail on how the balance of carbohydrates, protein and dietary fat effect our body.
