Get Active 50+ - Healthy Lifestyle Project
Age Concern Cheshire, in association with Macclesfield Leisure Centre, will be staging a Healthy Lifestyle Project to encourage improving access to services that promote the health, well-being and independence of older people.
Events will be taking place at Macclesfield Leisure Centre and at the New Horizons Centre, Henderson Street, Macclesfield.
Activities at Henderson Street include Arts & Crafts, Pottery, Relaxation and Stress Reduction, Aromatherapy and Falls Prevention.
Andrew Wiggans, Macclesfield Leisure Centre Site Manager said, We are delighted to be able to help provide activities that help the health and well-being of older people.
Richard Roeton, Leisure Centres Sales & Marketing Manager said The Leisure Centres have always been committed to providing activities that appeal and are of benefit to all parts of the community, no matter what their age or personal circumstances.
The Leisure Centres all offer activities that are specifically designed for older people and not only benefit their long term health but are great fun social events.
