Condell's MCHI Presents Seminar on Stress Management

Everyone has stress in their lives. From personal relationship issues to money crunches, stress can cause any number of physical, emotional and mental problems. Learning to properly cope with these daily anxieties will help you live longer and happier.

The small things are cumulative, said Jeremy Clorfene, PhD. Americans don't manage our stress, we survive it. We work harder and harder, with less and less time, but want more and more out of life. This creates more disappointment and more stress.

To teach people how to properly manage their stress, Clorfene will present a half-day seminar Family Problems, Money Problems, Health Problems? You've Got Stress! The seminar, presented through Condell's Medical Center Health Institute, will be held at the Allen Conference Center, 700 Garfield Ave., Libertyville, on Condell Medical Center's main campus.

Clorfene, a licensed clinical psychologist, will provide participants with immediate, effective methods for managing stress and anxiety. Come learn about the mind-body connection in health and illness and learn some of the many cognitive and behavioral stress management strategies to help cope with stresses large and small.
