New Deluxe Humidifier Models from GENERALAire

GENERALAire has expanded their flow-thru bypass line of whole house humidifiers to include the 1042-DM and SL-16DM. These are deluxe models of the popular 1042-LH and SL-16 units.

The new DM Models feature more in the box providing everything needed for normal humidifier installation. Besides the standard equipment, the 1042-DM includes a plastic water tubing kit, humidistat wire kit, flexible bypass tube and a mounting adaptor plate for small metal ducts or for use on fiberglass ducts.

The SL-16DM includes a flexible bypass tube with damper, transformer, plastic water tubing kit, humidistat wire kit, 15 feet of drain hose and H-86 wall/duct mount humidistat. Both models feature a parts bag with saddle valve and all fittings/parts necessary for installation.

While the 1042-LH is still best suited for many retrofit installations and the SL-16 continues to be the value and performance leader for new construction and volume installers, these DM units appeal to the dealer who wants total convenience and reduced installation time.
