Donaldson offers new Hepa cabin air filters for Boeing 777 airplanes

Donaldson High Purity Products, a division of the Donaldson Company, Inc. that designs and manufactures air filters for the aviation industry, today announced that it has received FAA-PMA and Boeing OEM approval on its HEPA cabin air recirculation filters for B777-200 and B777-300 airplanes.

The HEPA filters remove 99.97% of 0.3micron particles from recirculated cabin air. The 0.3micron standard is used because it represents the most difficult particle size to capture. The filters are more effective on larger and smaller particles.

The Donaldson HEPA filters meet all FAA and Boeing air-worthiness specifications. They are manufactured to meet or exceed critical requirements for efficiency, life, weight and Skydrol resistance. The recommended service interval is one C-Check.

Commercial operators of Boeing B777-200/300 airplanes are encouraged to update their Maintenance Planning Document to include Donaldson part number P199777 and Boeing part number S210W002-1.

Donaldson Company also offers FAA-PMA and OEM approved filters for B777-200/300 aircraft for avionics equipment cabinets, smoking sections, vacuum lavatory compressor systems and work stations.
